Chartway was founded in 1992 by Richard Carter. The business philosophy established by Richard was to provide a range of High Quality Precision Engineering Services combined with First Class Customer Care, and has remained at the forefront of everything we have adhered to over the last 25 years.

Today we provide millions of Precision Machined Components to customer specifications using this philosophy. We have manufacturing sites in both the UK and China where we provide a wide range of Sub Contract Engineering Services including CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Presswork, Wire Cutting and Forming, Wire Erosion, Hot Forging, Casting & Cold Forming, Tool-making & Design.

We are regularly involved with our clients in product development through proto-typing and on into full production. So if you have the seed of an idea for a new product we have both the Engineering Expertise and the capacity to make your idea a reality!

Our machining capabilities encompass all grades of materials in Brass, Copper, Aluminium, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and many of the more exotic grades such as Duplex, Incalloy and Hastalloy as well as Aerospace Materials such as Titanium.

We have the experience to handle all levels of quality control, from the minimum industry requirements through to Process FMEA and PPAP Level 3.
