  • Turned part – up to 30mm in diameter – approx. 4 working weeks
  • Turned Part – above 30mm diameter – approx. 6 working weeks
  • Milled Part – approx. 6-8 working weeks
  • Asia Manufacture – 6 weeks manufacturing lead time; plus:
    • 1-2 weeks for air shipment; or:
    • 6-8 weeks for sea shipment

You can place an order for gauges directly through our gauge shop

Any order for bespoke components which we have already quoted on, should be sent to the email address below and one of the team will process this accordingly:

orders@chartway.co.uk

We use trusted 3rd party couriers for the majority of your deliveries and the costs will be estimated at the time of quotation.

For UK deliveries, the standard cost up to 4 boxes is £30; with pallets charged dependent on delivery postcode and pallet weight.

We also have our own company vehicle to deliver when required.

If negotiated during the quoting stage, and providing you place the necessary order coverage, we can offer to hold your stock (usually for a maximum of 12 months) for you to call off on a weekly or monthly basis.

By running a larger batch quantity, it often works out cheaper for you if you can commit to annual order coverage.

Gauge Shop/Rental:

Gauges are used to quickly check to see if an item is manufactured to the allowed tolerances on the production drawings.

Although a gauge doesn’t provide a physical measurement, it will allow the operator to make a decision on whether the component is made to an acceptable standard.

Find out more about they types of gauges and what they are used for on our Gauges Explained page.

Any gauge showing as In Stock, like in the image below is also available for rental.

Gauge In Stock Example

Please contact our sales team or fill out a gauge quotation request form to enquire

Providing we don’t require the gauge ourselves for any upcoming work; we can quote for any time period required.

Our minimum rental is usually 5 working days as standard, but please let us know if you need less than 5 days and we can quote you a bespoke rental agreement.

If the gauge you require is a non-standard, or less common, thread type then we can still quote for custom production to suit your requirements.

Please send the details to our sales team via email and will we send over your quotation as soon as possible.

Dependent on the complexity of the thread, gauges can take as little as 2-3 weeks to manufacture; but sometimes it may take up to 6 weeks.

Please get in touch with our team if you require an urgent order and we will advise our best delivery date before you place an order
